This conference is an educational and scientific course newly organized by Asia-Oceania Chapter of the International Federation of Clinical Neurophysiology (AOC-IFCN), starting in July 2026, with hands-on teaching sessions covering diverse topics for clinical practice and fostering research.

Individual member societies of AOC-IFCN will alternatively organize these hands-on training courses at intervals of 3-4 months. The label of these 10-12 sessions is “hands-on Learning series” with the main theme “Empowering the Future by Enriching the Know-How of Advanced Clinical Practice.

These hands-on learning series will be organized into a “hybrid” style conference, having physical and virtual attendance, more specifically, the overseas participants virtually join the conference through online access, whereas the local attendees physically in the real venue.

The second event of this hands-on learning series is organized by the Philippine Society of Clinical Neurophysiology entitled: “Neurophysiology Fundamentals”. This will be a focused pre-convention workshop designed to strengthen the practical knowledge and clinical skills of physicians in the essentials of neurophysiology and neuromuscular medicine. The workshop brings together expert faculty to translate core neurophysiologic principles into practical approaches that can be applied in everyday neurological practice.

The one whole day program will cover the basics of neurophysiology, practical pearls in neurophysiologic diagnostics, clinical correlations in neuromuscular diseases, and hands-on EMG–NCV workshops, providing participants with an integrated learning experience from foundational concepts to bedside and laboratory application. Neurophysiology Fundamentals will be held on November 24, 2026 at EDSA Shangri-La, Manila, in a hybrid setup and is ideal for neurologists, neurology trainees, and other physicians seeking to build or reinforce their competencies in clinical neurophysiology.
